CONVEX II – CONVEX BASE PLATES
A base plate adheres to the skin around the stoma. It protects the skin from aggressive stoma output and is attached to the corresponding bag through a ring with a matching size. There are several reasons to use the Convex II base plate. For instance, convex plates are used on retracted stomas and poorly sited stomas which are positioned in deep skin creases in the peristomal area. It can be used with Lentell OstoBelt for better adhesion of the plate against the stoma and the skin.Key features:

- Option of bag rotation before attaching to the ring to adapt to body position;
