BASIC II – STANDARD BASE PLATES
A base plate adheres to the skin around the stoma. It protects the skin from stoma output and is attached to the corresponding bag through a ring with a matching size. Basic II base plates are usually used when the stoma protrudes above the skin surface and when the skin around the stoma is flat and without creases.Key features:
